The Navy Cadet Force is a youth organisation for children and young people aged 8 and above and we welcome people from all parts of the community.
The Navy Cadet Force is a uniformed organisation based on the traditions and disciplines of our maritime heritage.
If you are between 8 - 18 years old then come down to one of our units and see if Cadets is for you. Take part in many activities from shooting, boating, archery, drill, communications and much much more.
Cadets is a challenging and rewarding experience, be sure that you don't miss out.
We are looking for Adult Volunteers to help train our cadets. Full training will be given to help you move forward on your new venture. If you fancy a bigger challenge, there is also the option of going into uniform. We also welcome ex-armed forces personnel to join our team. All Adult Volunteers will need to undertake a DBS check.
We encourage all our Cadets parents to offer some voluntary time. As units are self-funded, they are run by unit Management Committee. This can be from selling tuck, to helping on fund raising events/Fetes/Carnivals, to transporting cadets to and from local venues etc. Any time given is much appreciated.
